Our Cooperative Program

Principled ~ We are a giving people because we are children of a giving Father. We teach our people to give out of obedience, love, and sacrifice.

Purposeful ~ For more than 85 years, our Cooperative Program has existed for only one reason: to enable us to carry the Gospel to our neighbors and the nations.

Practical ~ In days such as these, everyone is desperately trying to find the most “bang for the buck.” We all desire to practice good stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to us.

Productive ~ Perhaps this is the greatest reality about CP missions. Over 565,000 people were baptized in other parts of the world in 2008, and we share that blessing through CP giving.

The Cooperative Program is not really about a “program” at all. It is about touching our community, our state, our nation, and our world with the love and truth of the Gospel message. It is an eternal matter of our hearts, of life and death, and of faithful obedience to the lordship of Christ.
