Cape Girardeau Baptist Association
A community of churches assisting each other in carrying out God's Great Commission

Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we were able to accomplish many major improvements at the Peaceful Valley Baptist Camp during the 2007 camp session.  Two major improvements included; Central Air was installed in our Dinning Hall, and completion of  New road  into camp, this is  A Must See!

God has blessed this camp with wonderful Directors and Cabin Leaders to help lead young people to the Lord. He has blessed our camp with fine people who dedicate their time and talents to ensure the success of the camp for what it was intended to be: The Major Mission Project for Cape Girardeau Baptist Association!

The effectiveness of the 2007 camp for His Kingdom is visible, measurable, understandable and accomplished by Baptists following the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Whoever named it named it well a door-way to Heaven, a barrier to Hell"

Following the leadership of the Holy Spirit, on March 23, 1953, Joseph E. Cleveland and Zalma Blanche Cleaveland his wife, gave for the sum of $1.00 and other valuable considerations to Trustees of the Cape Girardeau Baptist Association (L. A. Greene, Joseph Cleveland, Hubert Young, Early Selby, Lee Cook, and Claude Sanders) and their successors in office, 37.9 acres, what we now call Peaceful Valley Camp.
