Media Library

Information

Library Hours: The media library is open any time the Associational office is open, and we invite you to come by and browse through our resources. The librarian, Gayle Rhodes, will be present to assist you on Wednesday afternoons between 1:30 and 4:00. Mrs. Margaret will be available to assist you at other times.

Using the Media Library: We have updated the library card cataloging system, and now use the Cross Library 1.7 computer program. This allows you to efficiently search for resources by title, author, subject, key words or phrases, and other data. For your convenience, we have a complete list of all the media in our library categorized by subject, and printed copies are available upon request. We will be glad to help you find the media you need and check it out to you.

Due Dates: You may check-out books, videos, DVDs, CDs, and cassettes  for three weeks, and these may be renewed for an additional three weeks. Kits and some other resources may be checked out for an extended period of time, usually six to twelve weeks, depending on the individual item. We do request that you return media promptly when you are finished using it, so that it will be available for others to use in their ministries.

Returning Media: Simply bring the items back to the library and leave them in the media return cart.

Reserving Media: You may reserve media by calling the office or stopping by the library and requesting it. Be sure to give your name, church, phone number, title of item, and the dates you wish to use the material.
